It may surprise you, but math was actually one of the subjects that I excelled at in grade school. So then how in the world does 1+1=5? Truth be told, I can make 1+1=10 or 1+1=3. When it really comes down to it, with One Donation, donors can choose for the sum or total of 1+1 to equal whatever number they like.
One exciting feature of One Donation is the power to make one donation and then distribute that donation across multiple non-profits. This type of transaction does take a little bit of setup on behalf of One Donation, but we are more than happy to help.
We are currently in discussions with a Church that is seeking to take advantage of this type of transaction. They work locally with several non-profits as well as a few missionaries which they want to support. Initially the Church heard about One Donation only in passing but upon follow up and due diligence the Church is interested in working with One Donation.
The Church was in the middle of vetting another organization that offers this type of service, but not nearly at the level of efficiency as One Donation. One Donation can be so efficient because we do not employ hundreds of people or have any local or regional offices. One Donation instead has chosen to use technology and the lack of a traditional brick and mortar business to set us apart.
Here is how it will work for the Church:
- The Church will provide One Donation with a list of the non-profits and missionaries they wish to support.
- One Donation will create a custom online form which will include a list of the non-profits and missionaries the Church supports.
- Church Members will complete and submit the form online. Copies of the online form will be sent to the Church and the Members employer in order to setup the payroll donation.
- One Donation will disburse the donation as selected by the Church Member/employee.
